A review of our school Teaching and Learning Policy including an updated Curriculum Map based on current practice.

• Inclusion and Equality.                                                                

Review our policy and practice to ensure our school is fully inclusive.

• Maths and Science.                                                                   

Continue to review these core subjects in terms of policy, practice and resources. Ensure that standards remain high and the subjects are practical and relevant to the 21^st century.

• Our Global School – Olympics 2012

Variety of events and class work around the theme of Our Global School. PE/Sports/Internationalism and Modern Foreign Languages.

• ICT

A full review and update of ICT resources

• External Validation –

Ensure that the work we do has external validation in terms of quality assurance. The following will take place:

  • A Supported Self Review will take place in February 2012, involving an external inspection of the quality of our Teaching and Learning provision by an accredited Ofsted Inspector.
  • The Local Authority will review the schools performance.
  • We will apply for the Inclusion Quality Mark
  • Ofsted will review our standards and achievements using statutory data.
