OUR FIRST SCIENCE MUSEUM SLEEPOVER
Year 5 enjoyed a great sleepover at the Science Museum.
You can see from the pictures below it was a busy night.
Activities based on the theme of "Space" went on until 11.30pm!
The evening started with a welcome talk where we also met our group leader Ellie.
The staff sleepover team were set and ready to go!
Once the talk was over, we were off to our first activity.
We quickly moved through the museum to our first Space session!
The first activity was about the planets and preparing for a rocket launch.
We shared the events with other schools, especially one called Essendine.
Walker children....and staff.....were constantly chosen to lead activities.
Always keen and eager to take part Walker children were bright and alert!
The behaviour during the evening was excellent. All the children listened well.
We had to make rockets ready for launching.
Each group worked collaboratively to make 20 rockets.
The rockets were competed in time and the competition started.
The children worked really well together.
Ellie, our group leader, was great fun.
Walker staff called out the winning scores.
Snack time!
So much food!

Once we'd eaten we were off to the second activity.
