FEBRUARY 2010

February is a busy month with Paired Reading in full swing,
and the great SMSC Week to look forward to......
.....Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Week.

We have started the year with poor weather conditions. Despite the inconvenience caused, the snow is stunning and the school looks wonderful!

Clearly this is going to be another exciting month!
With the success of Sustainability Week last month,
you would imagine that we would have a calmer month in December.
Alas no....at Walker we never stop.
This month we have many great activities taking place.
Parents are always invited of course,
so we look forward to seeing you all in school.
Finally a happy Christmas from all the staff at Walker!

NOVEMBER 2009

This month we will be supporting many charities as usual.
Our main fund raising will be for Remembrance Day,
selling Poppies for the British Legion.
This is also the month for Sustainability Week.....watch this website for more news and pictures.

Children have been out and about again this term, using the local
community to support their learning.
You will see from the October newsletter that we have
a great commitment to taking the children out of the
classroom ..... not only do children enjoy going out, but
the first hand experiences they get will be remembered!
Thios was also the month for Eid celebrations.

Welcome back to Walker!
We have started the year in our usual positive fashion and are delighted to see all our children back!
