Progress Timeline Report and Summary of Works January 2020

After Half term 2019, the infants will move to the new block. See page 3 and 4 of Classroom allocations .

We've moved in !

The classes in the new block are looking amazing. They will be ready to occupy by week 2. Children will continue to be taught in the existing school until we have had all the safety aspects cleared. Only a week to go, we are very excited.

Entering and leaving the school site

Families should enter the school via the side gate beside the Walker Cricket ground /car park. Families wait in the playground from 8.30a.m for morning drop off, then they will be collected by their teachers at 8.55 am . At the end of the day collection for juniors will be from the playground and the back of classes for the infants as per usual.

During the school day, late children or visitors enter via the office at the front of the school.

If you need to speak to the office staff please use the front pedestrian entrance nearest the car park.

Please bear with us all as we settle into the new routes to school. We may change these routes as we work around the new build site.

Parents, please remember to safeguard our pupils and only enter the building via the office unless accompanied by a member of staff.

Please park and drive safely near the school , as we no longer have a traffic warden.  Respect our neighbours including the nursery. There are new road humps to slow down traffic and yellow lines.

Thank you

During the summer our new temporary classes arrived. We are almost ready and in the final week of the holiday we will be moving the furniture in and working out where families can drop and collect children safely. We are very impressed with how hard the building team and Mr Lock have worked to get everything ready for the start of term. Thank you to the team.
