Walker Primary School Inspiring a love of learning in a supportive community

Year 5

Hi, we've been back two weeks now and the children have done brilliantly getting back into the routines and rhythms of school life. They've been working really hard and quickly adapted to being back in the classroom, which is amazing given that now we have so many new rules to observe so that we keep each other safe.

This week, our maths homework is back on MyMaths. The literacy homework below will need to be done on a sheet of paper or in homework books. Please ask your child to bring their homework book into school on Monday or Tuesday if they have it. From next week, information about homework will return to Google Classroom.

On the subject of homework, we're really pleased with the high standard of letter-writing and maths posters that we received for last week's tasks. Well done, everyone!

Finally, please make sure your child comes to school every day with their reading book and reading record/diary as well as their pen, pencils, ruler, rubber, sharpener etc.

Thanks,

Mr Lurie and Mrs Ibrahim
